Bright Idea was my third animated promo for the Amazebot Programming Competition. The story focuses on Tina solving a maze, but Baron Von Koggenweil keeps stealing her ideas. Once Tina discovers Baron’s thievery, she enacts her revenge!

Bright Idea was a straightforward production: story, storyboard, animatic, animation, matte rendering, final production. Tina’s design was remodelled from my first Amazebot animation to reflect the new story setting (Victorian). The Baron was a new character (influenced by Snidely Whiplash crossed with a Segway), developed briefly in sketch and then fully formed during 3d modelling.
